Today is the NHS' 76th birthday. We don't know our future health needs, so it makes sense to me that we keep doing all we can to make the NHS the best it can be. The NHS is made by our people, and this lovely poem from Michael Rosen is a great celebration of exactly that.

I have just ordered a new toothbrush. According to Amazon, this could make a good Mother's Day present. For the record, I prefer chocolates, wine or flowers. Toothbrushes don't feature until at least 4th place.
