All recent gravitational waves were detected using #quantum squeezed light. Adaptive optics is crucial for achieving high quantum enhancement factors. In this review we also discuss how it will help us detecting gravitational waves with future generations of observatories.

The prototype suspension for all the suspensions of all 7 in-vacuum optical tables of Advanced EGO & the Virgo Collaboration, that I worked on for several years, is now being repurposed as a sensor testbed facility at National Institute for Subatomic Physics Nikhef. Look forward to seeing it in action again!
