NSF REU Zach Heiple and mentor @Liz_C_Miller lead our new paper on deep-sea anglerfish morphology. Their jaws are more diverse and specialized than shallow species. It’s weird b/c anglers seem to have generalist diets. Could be Liem’s Paradox. Read more: doi.org/10.1098/rsbl.2…
