Day 47 : just got sent an article from the Guardian that says 1 in 3 kids in the UK are now in poverty. So incredibly grateful to be able to provide, but horrified for all those children who are suffering. It's not good enough when you think of all the wealth in the world 😔

Day 48 : Grateful for the men in my life. Thank you for all the positive contributions you make to this world #InternationalMensDay2024

Day 49 : Sounds silly, my eldest boy handed me his hot water bottle as he went up to bed. I was like... why do I want that... but then I put it behind my aching shoulders and I'm still sitting here with it now. Heaven. Thank you son. Really kind thought to give it to me

Day 50 : Grateful to my friend who so quickly replied to my panicked message from parents evening asking her who my child's teacher is 🤦‍♀️. She even gave a description. I feel so bad not knowing this stuff but am consistently supported by other mums who don't judge me.

Day 51 : Grateful for the heating. I know so many people struggle to heat their home. Seems a basic human right. New measure/target : 100% of people are able to afford to heat their home in the UK

Day 52 : Grateful for my advent calendar. Not had one in years. A gift from my husband.

Day 53 : Comfort food. With my boys 🥰

Day 54 : Sorry I know I'm doing all food related things, but I really am grateful for the food I eat. Today I'm a bit under the weather, so grateful for green food to help me heal.

Day 55 : I'm often asked whether I prepare in advance for DJ sets or go with the flow. I do both. I pull a playlist of around 100 tunes together for each event. Then go from there. Usually end up playing off multiple playlists. Grateful to have 10 mins to prep for my gig tomorrow

Day 56 : The power of 'letting on.' So many people said 'mornin,'' to us as we walked in the rain today. Can't tell you how it's lifted my spirits. Simple but effective. Especially important, as for some, that might be the only real human connection they have that day ☀️

Day 57 : Grateful for a lie in. 🛌 😴

Day 58 : Grateful for the chance to put up Christmas decorations and make everything sparkle. This guy has been with me well over 15 years.

Day 59 : Thought I might transition to daily sunsets/skies for a bit. here goes... 1st Jan 2025

Day 62: Snowy day. Nice colours (and pylons).

Day 63 : Snow crystals and sky. And finally some grass. The dog was delighted to have somewhere to wee without panicking.
