Today was the Topping Off Ceremony for the new elementary school in Johnston which will open in the Fall of 2026. This is a great example of everyone coming together for the children. Thanks especially to Joe Polisena Jr. for his leadership.

Had a great time at the doors with Maria Bucci in Cranston and am CERTAIN she will serve ALL the people of Cranston and RI. Maria is a mom of two, wife, business person and community leader. She is so real and authentic and available to serve her constituents. Go Maria!

This morning ElishaProject partnered with Home Depot and statewide law enforcement agencies on Coats4Vets to bring winter coats to veterans in need, ensuring they are safe from the unforgiving winter weather. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers.

I am calling on Governor McKee to declare a public health emergency. With winter temps putting lives at risk and shelter capacity stretched beyond its limits, we need immediate action. We cannot afford to wait while Rhode Islanders suffer in the cold.
