Thank you to Dan Albas for tabling this petition to save the Penticton Shooting Sports Association. The Association serves sport shooters, hunters and law enforcement and needs its lease extended. Thousands of Canadians support this and we are gaining new allies everyday.

This week, I spoke about homelessness in our riding, focusing on the tent city at the entrance to Penticton on Fairview Ave & Highway 97. Federal Liberal and provincial NDP policies concerning housing, crime and drugs have lead to this disastrous situation.

My colleague Mel Arnold MP is right. The government must operate with full transparency to show Canadians why these ostriches pose a health and safety risk to humans and livestock that justifies the cull.

The Liberals continue to insist that we need to strip responsible hunters and farmers of firearms that they use every day... to stop criminals who use illegally trafficked guns. We should be working to stop illegal gun trafficking, not banning duck hunting rifles.

Proud to support my great colleague Rachael Thomas's Bill C-246, which will ensure real penalties for sexual predators. Under the current system, multiple assaults are too often treated as one. C-246 will ensure multiple offenses carry consecutive sentences. Let's pass it.

Too many Canadians can't see a doctor and too many doctors can't see Canadians. At the Health Committee we'll look at how our broken immigration system brings healthcare workers to Canada but then doesn't let them work in healthcare. More to come.
