So great to see our Y7 and 8 students clapping along and thoroughly enjoying the performance from the EKS Big Band who have travelled all the way from Germany to share their music with Doncaster schools. Fabulous!! 👏

✨We are excited to announce that our annual Summer Showcase will take place Thursday 17th July 5pm. The show will include a range of performances from our talented students and end with a abridged performance of The Wizard of Oz from our work with Arts Intentional.✨

We’ve had a fantastic couple of days with the @epic_doncaster team in school! They delivered powerful workshops on Violence Against Women & Girls to all of Year 8 and some staff using VR headsets to create an immersive and impactful experience.

This year, we will be hosting a Colour Run after school Sports Day (Monday 14th July). We hope to see lots of you there for this fun experience!

Y9 and 10 Health and Social students had a great afternoon experiencing the roles of health care professionals, as well as gaining an understanding of the various careers and opportunities the subject can provide.

This week Y8 have been doing science fair activities. Today, Miss Ashley’s class have been designing and creating the tallest towers out of spaghetti!

Good luck to our Year 10s as they head out on work experience this week! This is a brilliant chance to gain a glimpse of life beyond the classroom, learn new skills and think about our professional futures.

We’re excited to welcome our new Year 7s for transition days this week! All our students and staff are ready to give them a warm Ridgewood welcome and show them what makes life here special. Time to start preparing for the road ahead!

Year 7 have been making some excellent cheese straws in Food Tech this week- they smelt and tasted delicious!
