847 NAS has been in California working with the USMC as part of the Weapons and Tactics Instructors course, one of the most difficult courses in military aviation. Conducting aviation raids, CAS, and other complex serials allows us to be best prepared to support our UK Cdo Forces

847 NAS’s use of the Wildcat #Helicopter to deliver stores to ground troops in the #Arctic is a game-changer. In the extremely cold & remote Arctic terrain, resupply by air is the only reliable option—keeping our #Commando forces equipped and ready to fight!

847 leading the way! Working with the Merlin #helicopters of 845 Naval Air Squadron and NH90s of Koninklijke Marine, 847 led a Joint Personnel Recovery exercise in #Norway where a simulated downed crew was recovered from behind enemy lines. JPR is a key skill for supporting our #Commando Forces!
