Year Six are having a lovely afternoon with their Year One buddies!

Year Six have made Helsby Hillside proud during their fieldwork task in the village. They approached members of the public with respect and kindness- great job Year Six!

Today at Books and Biscuits Club, we made our own reading dens - we can read in all kinds of places! #readingforpleasure

Reception enjoyed playing boule this morning

The perfect Well-Being afternoon for some fun at the field with Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Lots of happy faces playing football, parachute games, making flower bracelets and some hula hooping.

There was even time for a cool treat for EYFS & KS1 at the field for our wellbeing day 🍭🍦

The Year One gardens are blooming!

Year 2 explored the work of Kandinsky who was a pioneer in abstraction. The children began to make visual notes in their sketchbooks.

Year Six have loved their bikeability sessions this week! 🚴🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

13 Y10 students visited Helsby Hillside Primary School to work in groups teaching French, German and Polish to Y1-6 as part of their 'Language Leaders' role. We are proud of the way our students 'valued others' and we were thrilled to hear a lot of praise from the Hillside staff!

Year 1 enjoyed exploring artists inspired by flora and fauna. They studied a painting of an Amaryllis by Hannah Borger and created their own Amaryllis paintings using careful drawing watercolours.
