A week ago, I met with staff for U.S. Rep. Brittany Pettersen, who had to caveat that the Congresswoman might not even be able to vote on the issue we were discussing (DC Budget autonomy). I doubt I share much with Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, but appreciate her stand here (and other 8 Rs).

The #DCLocalFundsAct would restore DC's power to spend local funds, and everyone from the mayor to the president agrees it needs to pass. But time is running out. Send a letter to Speaker Johnson to say #HandsOff DC's money: move the DC funding fix NOW. freedcproject.org/house
