Our Year 10 Hospitality and Catering students recently completed their first practical assessment for their PPE and did a fantastic job. Everything was prepared from scratch. Lots of staff taste tested the various dishes, with wonderful feedback. Well done, Year 10!

What a great way to start our legacy week. Sharing the talents of all our students at our annual art and Music festival

Last week, we welcomed Year 5 children from Castle Hill primary to our DT workshop to learn about how to do computer aided design (CAD) and manufacture using the laser cutter. They all produced keyrings, which were hand sanded and finished with wax to take home.

Students rewarded for their 100% attendance had a 'splashing' time as part of their Fun Friday last week as members of staff were subjected to wet sponges being thrown at them! 🧽 💦

Our Year 12s are having a great time on the A Level Geography field trip on the Jurassic coast this week ☀️

Year 9 had a fantastic trip to the Science Museum in London and a walk to Kensington Gardens this week!

Our Year 7 students enjoyed a day out to Porthcawl last Monday as part of Legacy Week learning about coasts as part of their Geography. They enjoyed ice cream and a spell in the arcade too!

Last Friday, we held an alternative ‘sports day’ for a group of students and we went horse riding for the morning. We learned about bringing the horses in, grooming and then had a lovely ride with some games. For many students, this was their first time riding and they loved it!
