Have Defra and Steve Reed repeatedly told a massive lie about £104Bn of private money coming in to fund water company improvements? Ofwat says it will be customer's money. Who do you believe? express.co.uk/news/politics/…

OK, we explained why the Cunliffe Review was broken before it started. Our letter asking him to fix it or step down is still live online to add your organisation or individual support. BTW - Feargal signed it a week ago. windrushwasp.org/single-post/th…

Water industry lobbyists tried to inflate the value of failing firms. Now it’s clear: bringing them into public ownership could cost close to £0. There’s support across the spectrum for public ownership. Action is a matter of political will. Common Wealth

Becky Malby is an inspiration. It's nice to see the system getting it right for once. Swimmer, river campaigner, Lido champion, defender of the NHS and organiser of meals for kids, she so thoroughly deserves this recognition. Well done, Becky. IlkleyCleanRiver

Water firms across the country are announcing hosepipe bans. All while: - 3 billion litres of water are wasted daily through leaks. - Not a single major reservoir has been built since privatisation. Time for public ownership: actionnetwork.org/forms/water-be…

The problem is Steve Reed said “pollution levels are worse in Scotland” which implies concentrations but have provided ‘incidents’ per 10,000km of pipe and the % of EDMs fitted. This doesn’t mean pollution is worse.

🔥The People’s Commission for water has found that Steve Reed's £100bn figure to put water in public hands is ‘serious scaremongering & based on biased evidence’. ❗You can read their open letter to the Environment Minister here. vist.ly/3zhxj
