Saturday's 'Come & Sing' event with renowned composer Bob Chilcott was a fantastic occasion. Many thanks to all who came along to sing Gloria and Aesop's Fables in the beautiful surroundings of Hereford Cathedral. #HCSmusic


Yesterday, Dr Michael Gray started the day with a story in the Nursery. The children gathered on the carpet and listened quietly as Dr Gray read 'Paddington at the Carnival'. In the book, Paddington encounters lots of things beginning with the 'B' sound. Thank you, Dr Gray!š


Today it was Receptionās turn to receive a visit from Dr Gray. The children gathered to hear the Headmaster read Dragon Post by Emma Yarlettš The children were full of enthusiasm for the bookās wonderful illustrations and funny storyline. Thanks Dr Michael Gray for a great story!š




We were proud to see Hereford Cathedral School Year 12 pupil and Lord Lieutenant's Cadet, Enola H, present at Hereford Cathedral today, in honour of the visit by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester to hear the sound of the new organ.





š¶ MUSIC // It has been a joy to welcome conductor and vocal coach Dominic Ellis-Peckham to HCS today. He has led lively sessions with our Chamber Choir and Colla Voce this morning, and this afternoon has been working with the Junior School and visiting primary schools. #HCSmusic

Itās been wonderful to host Jesse Norman at HCJS this morning. He spoke to pupils in years 4, 5 and 6 about the workings of the UK voting system and the passing of laws. Year 4 have been learning all about democracy, and they were able to ask Mr Norman all about life as an MP.
