Approaches getting a hand cut this morning, applied Headland Amenity 30-20-20 to them plus greens and tees last week. Coming up fantastically and looking really strong and healthy. Hand cutting the tees tomorrow and looking forward to the results 👌

Today was the Tees turn for a hand cut. Again coming up nice after the Headland Amenity 30-20-20 was applied last week. Our tees are small for the amount of play (roughly 2/3 of a hectare) this time of year is always a stress for them but they are holding up well so far

All year the team haven’t let me down and this week was no exception, finishing the year strong with a sarrel roll & cut on the greens this morning and also moved holes & raked bunkers then used our tarmac oven to fill a couple potholes along the drive. Merry Christmas all 🎄

7 days on from being closed after 77mm of rain in a week we have been able to get out and cut whole course. The investment in the drainage program paying off👌

Expansion of the 6th Tees progressing well, back tee levelled today, yellow tomorrow then on to complete the 4th then 8th turf going down next week. Enjoying the ladder technique for levelling to tees, so quick with great results. Fairway aeration progressing too.

Between all the rain we managed to get a hand cut on greens, tees & apps plus about half the fairways and raked the bunkers. Currently the second wettest February and only a few mm off of the wettest. Some places are doing better than others but ALL are doing all they can

Well it was dry at the beginning of the week! Managed to get a cut to all areas though, greens coming up well ahead of maintenance. Also got a first cut to the 6th and 4th comp tees, Next week should be turfing the 8th tee then rest of the 4th the week after.

Managed to get maintenance completed, not coring & verti cutting as planned due to rain but managed to get 30 ton across the greens which is a great start to for the planned totals. Pushed a couple of areas to get a full course cut over last two days but pleased with the results

All set up for the first pro am of the year #hertspgaalliance 5:00 start but the team smashed it. Now for breakfast on the gm 👍

A pretty dry week 😱 got a cut to everything and started getting the stripes back on the fairways, this can only mean one thing spring is nearly here 🎉 until next week when it’s gone again but then it’ll be back…….for a bit 😂

Nearly another inch of rain this week and it’s raining again now, already 100mm above our average for the first three months of the year. Thankfully we were able to get out there around the rain and sort the course ahead of the early bank holiday weekend

Heading into my last 7 days The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club course is beginning to glow after some dry weather finally. Gonna miss the team I have here but I know they’ll keep smashing it 👊

Greens sprayed today The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club with Aquatrols Europe Zipline and Attain⛳️ 85mm of rain in 5 days has certainly given the course its colour back☔️ The team are working hard as we prepare for a county competition on Monday morning 💪
