Check the #LVAD settings. Low flow + low PI + low Power = preload problem. Low flow +low PI+ high Power= obstruction, low flow + normal PI and power = sepsis. Ewan #AEM24

Remember the 3s of Peds ECGs. Axis can be any 3 quadrants up to age 3. TWI are normal in V1-V3 up to age 13. TWI Resolves in V3 first. #AAEM24 #ECG

HHS tips with Dr. Willis. Calculate the correct Na and pick resuscitation fluid based on the Na concentration. Also may need to slow insulin infusion rate down to avoid driving more hypernatremia as glucose corrects. Recheck a BMP as you go. George Willis AAEM #AAEM24
