In 2017 or 2018 when we were both Borough President and pushing city to create a Brooklyn/SI fast ferry route, Mayor Eric Adams and I contemplated renting a fast ferry to hold a press conference calling for creation of route. Great optics; not practical. Route would be huge, though.
