Our volunteer crew were called out on Monday night, just after 11.20pm, to assist 2 sailors in trouble 27 miles off the north west coast of Holyhead. Vessel & occupants safely returned to shore just after 5am. 📷 of ALB Christopher Pearce taken by Matt Burgess. #RNLI

Our annual crew barbecue ended abruptly yesterday when the pagers went off! A vessel with 4 on board stuck on rocks. Both RNLI lifeboats were launch, and the casualties were brought safely to shore ⚓️ (Video clip of us launching in previous )

Our RNLI crew were called out yesterday to assist a lone kayaker within Holyhead harbour. The casualty was taken on board the lifeboat and returned to shore, to the care of the local volunteer coastguard team. Full details here: rnli.org/news-and-media…

Delighted to host the Cybi Coastal Marathon one again, on a beautiful sunny day ☀️ 26 miles around our wonderful island, starting and finishing at our station, and all proceeds generously donated to us and RNLI TREARDDUR BAY Good luck everyone! 👏 #RNLI

Our ILB crew were called out just after 2am to assist a vessel struggling to moor in the very high winds. The 3 people on board were exhausted but physically well. We assisted them onto a secure mooring before returning to station. 📷 Library pic #RNLI

Here we are back in June, with colleagues RNLI TREARDDUR BAY rescuing climber Jon. This was a long, complicated rescue due to the difficult location and his injuries, but all was well in the end and he was safely airlifted to hospital.
