Today, on #19June I met Ezidi survivors in Kurdistan camps-brave women bearing unimaginable scars, yet full of resilience. The KRG stands with them& always will. After 11 years, many are still in captivity. The Iraqi Govt has done nothing-no justice, no services, no dignity!

Met with the UN SRSG to discuss key political developments & challenges facing women & girls in Kurdistan. We reaffirmed Kurdistan Regional Government commitment to free & and the safe participation of women in the upcoming elections & called for greater UNAMI support to advance women’s rights.
