Great game of football. Plenty of chances but MONKWEARMOUTH FOOTBALL ACADEMY couldn't get past an excellent display of goal keeping, while High Tunstall PE were clinical at the other end. Well done to all players.

For Friday’s training session, the Under 11s and Under 12s played a mixed “Hundred Style” match at High Tunstall PE. Some great batting, fielding and bowling. The wicket-keepers did excellent behind the sticks too! Great to play training matches when the opportunity arises. 🏏

It was the perfect start to the NE Champs as we got started with u15 girls hurdles. Izzy Easby and Eleanor Theodosiou running their first ever Hurdles race along with Grace Kane going over u15 set for just 2nd time!

It was a brilliant day for Oliver Meadley in the throws as he took u20 Bronze 🥉 in Shot Putt 8.37m and then a 2nd Bronze 🥉 in Discus with a throw of 25.65m 💪 🤞 for the same again tomorrow in the Javelin 👏 Hartlepool Sixth Form Sport
