Home time! We have all had an absolutely brilliant few days in York and couldn’t be happier with The Wheatlands Lodge ( all children gave it a massive 5 stars). Off to Rufford Abbey and country park for lunch and then back to Highlees… see you all soon!

HELLO Highlees Primary We had a fantastic afternoon at Highlees Primary School with our giant football inflatable dartboard It was great to meet so many pupils, parents and teachers to kick start our Wrap Around Care Provision that will start in September

EYFS have been discussing the dangers of plastic pollution and how we can save our seas. The children created posters to tell the Highlees community how to preserve our oceans #saveouroceans

Highlees In Bloom is on Wednesday We have a gardening themed cake competition Bring in your entries in the morning to be judged We will be selling them on the KS1 playground from 2.45pm to 3.30pm Remember, we are a nut free school and we will need to know the ingredients you use.

Year 4 loved playing a matching game in P.S.H.E today.
