My biggest issues with Folkstyle is that we have to be gentle when we throw someone to the mat. I understand that safety is important but kids get slammed harder than both of these clips in Freestyle and get rewarded for it…because it’s AWESOME!

Wrestling will give you the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Don’t get too high when you’re on top and don’t break when you’re in the lows. I’ve been down plenty of times in my career. The only things I regret are when I mentally broke. Thanks for sharing FloWrestling!

The combination of officials not knowing the rules vs the coaches/parents not knowing the rules creates an almost comedic dynamic at these youth events. The main take away should be that wrestling is extremely difficult to officiate and we should all chill out a lil bit 🤷‍♂️😎
