Green Watch Hightown and Police pausing for two minutes this am as part of #999Day. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service

A busy day today at Hightown! Our Junior neighbourhood wardens visited the station to learn about firework & home safety, along with first aid skills. Groups were given the opportunity to learn about the fire service and how we support communities. SouthamptonCC Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service

Non-stop for #whitewatch today: relief crew for a thatch fire in #Clanfield, two house fires, standbys, Safe & Well visits, plus a four vehicle RTC on the #M3 with Sutton Scotney Fire Station

Fantastic photos from yesterday's rescue sent to us by the neighbour. Southsea Fire Stn ALP crew performed a very difficult pitch to make the rescue with support from Eastleigh Fire Station rope rescue team and Hightown Fire Station St Mary's Fire Stn crew. Amazing to be a part of such a professional team.

Hightown Fire Station fire station will be holding a charity carwash on 18th March 2023 from 10am, raising money for Fire Fighters Charity charity Please forward this to help. P.S check your smoke alarms & feel free to talk to us on the day about fire safety. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service @PaulReddishHFRS

Lots of hard work from all Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service crews at the scrapyard fire in #Southampton overnight. First time I’ve ever witnessed the awesome firefighting capabilities of a harbour tug in person, great assistance provided by ABP Southampton

We have started construction of a wellbeing garden for use by our firefighters to help contribute to positive mental health at work. We are very grateful for the support of MKM Building Supplies in Eastleigh by supplying building materials to allow our firefighters to build the garden!

Hightown & Eastleigh's Green Watch carried out a simulated rescue of a crane operative suffering a medical episode. Crews utilised safe working at height kit to package a casualty in the stretcher and lower to the ground. Thanks to Highwood Group for this opportunity.
