Having watched some hearings of Women & Equalities Committee I can’t say it’s fit for purpose - full of ignorant lines of questioning by MPs who not only misunderstand the law they haven’t done the most basic homework. It’s an embarrassment to parliament really- not a grown up endeavour at all.

Fair play to BBC Northern Ireland for acknowledging issues with this part of its coverage on the Supreme Court sex ruling. Other parts of the organisation should take note, and be more willing to admit mistakes. We all make them.
