MRC SG Fathimath Himya and leadership met with the Chief of UNDRR Asia-Pacific , Mr. Marco Toscano-Rivalta, discussing our ongoing work in disaster risk reduction and community resilience across the islands of the Maldives.



As the Co-Chair of the Migration Leadership Group, MRC SG Fathimath Himya spoke on the "Migration Strategy for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement 2024-2030" today at #RCRC24.

MRC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Maldives Meteorology today, working to strengthen partnerships and build community preparedness, awareness, and resilience regarding early warning systems, disaster management and climate change impacts.
