Celebrating #InternationalDayOfWomenAndGirlsInScience, Nicole Chapman is an Associate Practitioner in Cellular Pathology, who loved science from a young age and has always wanted to know the reasoning behind why things happen.

For International Day of Women and Girls in Science, meet Ellie, who is Assistant Technical Officer in Cellular Pathology. She enjoys her varied job, assisting Biomedical Scientists and consultants during tissue dissection, embedding, microtomy and quality control.

#InternationalDayOfWomenAndGirlsInScience Alison enjoys knowing that the work that she and her colleagues do, through the automated analysis of blood samples, positively contributes to the diagnosis and treatment of patients in our local community.

Finally, celebrating #InternationalDayofWomenAndGirlsInScience 2022, Kornelija is a Biomedical Science student. She chose to study biomedical science as she wanted to understand the different biochemical processes occurring within the human body.

Great news! We are pleased to receive this support from Huntingdonshire DC - helping us to create new facilities to deliver excellent care for our patients ☺️

If you are visiting our hospital over the next 3 weeks you will see that our Costa coffee shop in our main hospital is currently closed while refurbishment work takes place. Costa has temporarily relocated to the Treatment Centre so that they can continue to provide refreshments.
