Congratulations to the 2024 Waxman Family Drive Award Winners Dr. Fanny Etienne (Dr. Lindsay De Biase’s lab) and Dr. William Flavin (Dr. Chao Peng’s lab). This award is intended for trainees to enable new research ideas and directions related to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

This week the UCLA Easton Center for Alzheimer's Research & Care, Alzheimer's Los Angeles, and the Sam and Ida Turken Charitable Foundation awarded Dr. Chao Peng the 2024 Turken Research Award. Samar Padder (Drug Discovery Lab) and Chloe Sy Perez (Chang Lab) received awards for their abstracts.
