Several dozen people gathered in downtown Oakland on Saturday, June 8, for the launch of “Postales de la Pulga,” a new photo exhibit from El Tímpano and CatchLight documenting the Coliseum Swap Meet in East Oakland.

It was so fun collaborating with my colleagues Hiram Alejandro Durán and Mayra Sierra to design this exhibit about Oakland's Pulga. Stop by The Oakland Lowdown on Thursdays and Fridays from noon-4 pm today through Aug. 2 to hang with our team and check it out!
