This is an equivalent event of having snow covered streets in Guwahati. Nature is amazing and reminds us in its own language that it deserves our respect and sensitivity. When nature speaks we better not ignore.

On top of a large rise about 15,000 years ago at the end of the last ice age, CO2 has recently been climbing very rapidly (on a geological time scale) - starting with the industrial revolution. We are pretty obviously responsible for the rise since 1800! tinyurl.com/3a75swfe

Storing renewable energy (RE) is critical as its generation fluctuates with sun/wind etc. Lithium batteries are one solution among many. Pumped Storage plants is a century old idea getting increased traction nowadays. youtu.be/KqaNXGVNXb8?

The seeds of Abrus precatorius are very consistent in weight, even under different moisture conditions due to the water-impermeable seed-coat. Formerly Indians used these seeds to weigh gold using a measure called a Ratti, where 8 Ratti = 1 Masha; 12 Masha = 1 Tola (11.6 Grams).

The Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) tipping point is when the AMOC circulation collapses and stops churning the oceans. This would cause large-scale changes to the climate, weather, and temperature.

Northeast India had a warm and humid climate during the late Oligocene, very similar to the climate in the Western Ghats today. These conditions were ideal for tropical plants like plants like Nothopegia to grow.
