#DigChester Day 4-5, Thurs-Friday, Lucy: A hot day in Grosvenor Park but progress was made, we uncovered a stone feature, with the most common find being animal bone!!! Beth: Today was a hot day but we got lots completed (with some help from a 🐿️)! CWAC Museums University of Chester

#DigChester, Daisy: day 6 at the big brother dig! Annabel & I finished our section of the Roman ditch & recorded it, drawing a profile & description. Kayleigh finally found a bit of pot (Roman samian ware!) & Tom again sat in a hole looking whimsical! University of Chester CWAC Museums

#DigChester Day 7: Alex - today our group took our first 'levels', recording the height of a new layer full of slate before digging it. It layer produced our largest piece of pottery yet (of imported German stoneware), found by Casper, who's still on form! CWAC Museums University of Chester
