A pleasure to speak with Miss Tappenden Highfields School History Department & hear all about HSWVHolocaust latest #HtFMeUs plans, reflect on rather special musical response, 'My Hometown' & Beacon news. Super grateful for her time & enthusiasm for upcoming exciting opportunities. #feelinginspired
We're proud to share the short video created for open morning, showcasing our journey as a Holocaust Education Quality Mark Beacon School in Holocaust Education and participation in RWBAHolocaust #HtFMeUs project! youtube.com/watch?v=9TcVhd…
Well done Libby and Bella! 👏👏 So many parents stopped to tell us how impressive, knowledgable and confident you were. We’re so grateful you gave up your time to support the History department this morning, and lots of Year 6s were enthused for RWBAHolocaust #HtFMeUs 🤩
Great pleasure to visit Highfields School today & work alongside Miss Tappenden, Ms Ellis & Highfields School History Department students deepening & enriching their K&U of #BerniesJourney, Passover & more. Lovely to hear how #HtFMeUs is impacting new & alumni HSWVHolocaust students & how project evolves.
Was lovely to share a special short message yesterday with Highfields School History Department students embarking on the #HtFMeUs project, following #Berniesjourney. Thanks Bernie & Charlotte Lane for facilitating. Bernie's encouraging words were appreciated by HSWVHolocaust & Miss Tappenden.
Today, on Genocide Prevention Day, we at Highfields School pledge to use our Holocaust Education QM Beacon School status to ensure continued quality Holocaust and Genocide education throughout our curriculum and commit to #BerniesJourney RWBAHolocaust #HtFMeUs project.
Thank you to Nicky from Anne Frank Trust for spending the last 2 days delivering the Voices for Equality programme to our young people, many of whom are active participants of RWBAHolocaust #HtFMeUs project and part of out DiverseCity legacy project
