Congratulations Steve Brohawn and David Kern on the new story! Really exciting to how much you have been able to learn about the heteromeric channels and their regulation by lipids.

Excited to share our study on a high-affinity choline and ethanolamine transporter, FLVCR1, published today at Nature. I am grateful for my doctoral advisor ,Hite Lab , my co-authors and collaborators, Tim Kenny, Artem Khan, and Kivanc Birsoy. doi.org/10.1038/s41586…

Our collaboration with Will Pipatpolkai on NOX5 is out. We captured NOX5 in different activation states, and used MD simulation to explore the initiation of electron transfer. An unexpected Zn finger was also identified that is critical for function. nature.com/articles/s4146…

New work from our lab’s genomics guru Artem Khan with Eric R. Gamazon. Artem generated a new platform for metabolic gene discovery and identified the mitochondrial choline transporter. Rockefeller University Nature Genetics nature.com/articles/s4158…

Our work on human urate transporter is out Cell Research. Y. Dai single-handedly drove this project, which revealed the transport and drug mechanism of URAT1. We are grateful for the tremendous support from Structural Biology at St. Jude Children's Hospital nature.com/articles/s4142…
