Place and how it affects us is inherent in my writing, places as they are now and how they once were. How they shape us as much as we shape them. The places that stay with us no matter what ✍️ Gaynorfunnell(Lloyd) 👉wp.me/p8Mk4U-Bco nation.cymru/culture/on-bei…

Just a few days to go until I talk about ‘Imaging Wales’ The RCA Conwy. I refer to Iorwerth Peate in relation to David Bell in my accompanying book ‘Shaping Art in Wales’ (published by The Hmm Foundation). Two visions of Wales emerging from Llanbrynmair & Llundain/Llanfairfechan.

It's great to know that Seren Books is at the London Book Fair again this year. They published my book on the contemporary Welsh artist Ken Elias. My latest book 'Shaping Art in Wales' is also on the Cyhoeddi Cymru / Publishing Wales stand along with other new The Hmm Foundation art books.

Fantastic to be among the publishers representing Cymru at the @londonbookfair with Cyhoeddi Cymru / Cyhoeddi Cymru / Publishing Wales Check us out at Stand 7F50 if you're visiting #lbf24

Six days to go until I’m in conversation LlandeiloLitFest with artist & National Trust employee Kathryn Campbell Dodd about my ‘Shaping Art in Wales’ The Hmm Foundation book (pictured). Here we are Glynn Vivian preparing for our big day.

Actually now less than a DAY and a half until Ceri Thomas follows Kate Humble (now sold out) at Newtown House on the first day of LlandeiloLitFest to talk about his book 'Shaping Art in Wales' with National Trust arts officer Kathryn Campbell Dodd.

Two key figures in my 2023 The Hmm Foundation book ‘Shaping Art in Wales’ David Bell & his father Sir Idris Bell were partly involved in the transfer of artworks & incunabula to Wales & National Library of Wales from National Gallery & British Museum

I’m the 12th of our ‘Euro-Wales 92 Group’ 12 at The Turner House: “Awarded a Council of Europe Higher Education Scholarship, I painted Self-Portrait in Florence. In Rome I imaged Piazza del Popolo. My artwork creatively synthesises aspects of the individual and the international.”
