First single cell ATACseq-based definition of HIV reservoirs ex vivo! Check out Nature Immunology this week. Amazing work by Betts Lab Vincent Wu Laura Vella. Congrats Vincent!!

The single-cell epigenetic, transcriptional, and protein states can now be examined in the same single cell, both for HIV DNA+ cells and HIV RNA+ cells. Congrats to our postdoc Yulong Wei for his amazing late breaker talk at the HIV cure session of the exciting CROI 2023.
