Tonight Hoboken Fire Dept honored some of City of Hoboken’s bravest at the annual HFD Valor Awards ceremony. Members were honored for their bravery and dedication prior to marching in the Memorial Day Parade.

🧑🚒 Firefighters responded to a car fire on Hudson and 11th this morning. 🧯The fire was put out quickly, no injuries were reported, and the street was cleaned and reopened quickly. City of Hoboken Hoboken Fire Dept Hoboken Police and Hoboken OEM all responded.

🚒Last night #HobokenFire responded to calls of heavy smoke on the 200 block of 1st St. Fire was found in the walls of a building (housing Tony Baloney's & apts above) & was quickly put out. Please avoid the area of 13th and Grand due to a gas leak on the 1300 block of Grand Street. Hoboken Fire Dept Hoboken Police Hoboken OEM on scene. Residents in the area are asked to stay inside, unless told otherwise by first responders. PSE&G on site.
