One of the coolest things I’ve been a part of as a coach: tomorrow night Titan Larsen will play in his SIXTH!!! State Championship game. Two in football, four in basketball. Go help bring home another title for the Knights, Titan!

As the head coach, I felt a lot of pressure getting the final say on our state championship ring design… but I absolutely love how they turned out. Hopefully it is not the only time in my life I’ll get to help design one, but I’ll cherish this one forever.

The final morning of football camp, working with our young players, reminds me that no matter how much I know as a coach, it’s meaningless if I can’t help the athletes understand our scheme and execute it at a high level.

My annual reminder than the NBA playoffs are way too long. The first playoff game was on April 15th. There is no reason for any playoffs, in any sport, to be more than two months long.
