The emotional rollercoaster of using public transport as a wheelchair user perfectly demonstrated this morning. Almost got stuck on the Northern line at Kings Cross due to a broken lift, but then got a free first class upgrade on the train.

Happy #InternationalWheelchairDay This year I finally got a new chair after almost 10 years! Wheelchairs provide freedom and independence and I am very grateful for mine, I couldn’t live the life I do without a suitable chair.
