The final day of Cabinet of Curiosities at Rozelle House is this Sunday 9 February. Selected by South Ayrshire Council Museums & Galleries staff, it's a rare chance to see some highlights of our collection! Here's Laura with a quick peak at some of the items you can see -

P4 had a fantastic time at the Cabinet of Curiosities Exhibition at Rozelle in preparation for their own Marseum experience this term. There were really interesting exhibits including a wooden sheep's leg, Robbie Burns' cot and fantastic art work.

We are celebrating World Thinking Day today in school. World Thinking Day is celebrated annually on 22 February by all Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. It is also celebrated by Scout and Guide organizations around the world. It was wonderful to see them in their uniforms.

Some of our P7s really enjoyed the P7 Burns Lunch today at Ayr Town Hall. It was a great afternoon organised by Alloway Burns Club. We had the responsibility of the Address to a Haggis and it was a marvelous performance. Well done to everyone involved! #character #citzenship

Staff and pupils have been working together as part of the SAC Adaptive Teaching Programme. They have developed a range of strategies including editable task planners; assistive technologies, maths manipulatives and identifying 'what a good one looks like' to support learning.

P7 had an amazing time at the Rotary Club's P7 Careers Fayre at Ayr Town Hall today. They found out all about jobs in dentistry, engineering, horticulture, police, army, NHS and aviation to name just a few. They came away inspired and more knowledgeable about different jobs.

Our Equalities Group visited P1. They shared a lesson exploring equalities and respect. They led discussion groups and helped the younger children create their own equality garden where their unique features were shared on the petals of their flower creations. #citizenship
