Yom HaShoah begins at sundown tonight, when the Jewish community comes together to remember & mourn the 6 million Jewish men, women and children murdered in the Holocaust by the Nazis & their collaborators. Yom HaShoah commemorates the beginning of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

Today marks 80 years since the liberation of Ravensbrück concentration camp, the largest concentration camp for women. Approximately 40,000 women died in the camp before it was liberated on the 30th April 1945, by Soviet troops.

I was on this show last year. The conversation: the demonization of Israel, lazy sloganeering & Owen Jones being gratuitously rude. I raised the fact of Iran's backing of Hamas, Hizbollah, Houthis, but there is no appetite in Irish media to properly examine the complexities.

The German word vernichten means to exterminate & is used of vermin. The portrayal of Jews as rats is infamous Nazi propaganda. Dirty rat = dirty Jew is the message. Please educate yourself before speaking out publicly.  Supporting Gazans must not mean demonizing Jews.
