Tonight Loggers' Run Middle School we honored Holocaust Remembrance Day with a powerful student-created documentary featuring 4 Survivors—2 from Auschwitz. We lit candles with Survivors, 2Gs, and a student symbolizing the future. Unforgettable. #YomHaShoah

Today Boca Raton HS , students released butterflies in memory of the 1.5 million children murdered by the Nazis during the Holocaust. A powerful reminder of lives lost—and the responsibility we carry to remember them. #YomHaShoah #NeverForget

Nearly 300 parents, students, Survivors, teachers came together today for our “Legacy of Impact” brunch. Nearly 500 students in The School District of Palm Beach County became Goldsmith Student Holocaust Scholars. Yesterday, the incredible HEAL students Don Estridge led a powerful Holocaust education program for 6th grade. They taught with heart, preparing their peers for the Flutter of Hope butterfly project. Truly inspiring to see students teaching students and keeping memory alive.

Fourth graders @EgretLakeElementary engaged deeply with Hana’s Suitcase, learning about Hana’s story and the impact of the Holocaust through a child’s eyes. Their empathy, curiosity, and reflections remind us why we teach this history. We remember.

Midway through our second day in Poland with the March of the Educators,this group of 21 dedicated The School District of Palm Beach County principals is already leaving a mark. With powerful moments of reflection in Warsaw, we are learning, connecting, and bearing witness together.

Day 3 began at the Jewish cemetery in Warsaw, a space of memory and reverence. We then walked through Majdanek, dedicating our visit to Norman Frajman. We ended in Lancut at a breathtaking synagogue, a powerful reminder of the resilience of Jewish life.#Marchoftheeducators

Today in Poland, we walked through history, honoring the Righteous in Markowa, standing at mass graves, hearing a mother’s farewell read by Survivor Rosette. “What would I say if I had 2 hours to tell my kids everything?” Gut-wrenching. Then hope at the JCC in Kraków.

Day 5 Today we walked through the gates of Auschwitz. We bore witness. We honored memory. We visited the Archer Center, once the commandant’s home, now a center for research. Closed the day in deep conversation with courageous school leaders. Israel next. 💙
