A second visit to the Blackheath end of the SE London ACF annual camp. It was great to present Lt Maria Katehis with a Londist Colonel Cadets Commendation for her outstanding contribution to the Sector. Well deserved and many congratulations.

Tonight I had the privilege of presenting the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal to the excellent staff of City of London & North East Sector ACF. Congratulations to all the medal recipients.

Had the pleasure of attending CoLNE ACF last night to see the Weavers’ Company present a new side drum to the Corps of Drums. We were then treated to a superb performance by the cadets. Talented young people, largely self taught and doing an amazing job.
