Last week, I was honored to attend the commissioning of the Buikwe Water Supply and Sanitation System, led by the Minister of State for Water sekindi aisha through the Strategic Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project, co-financed by Government of Uganda and African Development Bank Group

#MWEworks: The Minister of State for Water; sekindi aisha commissioned two Solar Powered Mini Piped Water Supply Schemes aimed at improving access to clean water in Luweero District.

#MWEworks: The Minister of State for Water; sekindi aisha, Amuru District Woman MP; Hon. Akello Lucy and MP Kilak North Constituency; Hon. Anthony Akol Official commissioned Parabongo Water Supply System and Sanitation Facilities in Amuru District.

This project was implemented by MINISTRY OF WATER AND ENVIRONMENT 🇺🇬 through Water and Sanitation Development Facility North with funding from Government of Uganda with support from the German Government through KfW Bankengruppe.

Government of Uganda KfW Bankengruppe The contractor that undertook the construction works was M/s Adroit Ingeneira Limited with CES as the International Management Consultant. The system was handed over to Umbrella of Water and Sanitation-North for Operation and Maintenance.
