Michael Caposio enjoyed another plenty-productive second-place finish in today's $165 NHC qualifier at HorsePlayers. Caposio finished 60 cents in arrears of Tammy Johns (5 firsts, 2 seconds), who hit the final three contest races, beginning with Osage Creek.

Greg "Cookin' with" Gass hit 4 winners (including Warda) and 5 runners up to lead the way in today's two-seat qualifier to the Xpressbet Preakness Challenge. Who finished second? Who else? Michael Caposio.

Jeff Tracy connected w/Warda, Osage Creek, plus 3 other winners and 1 runner up. He took home the grand prize of $12,009 in today's HT Tour event, our $20,000 Gtd. cash game, which ultimately paid out $26,687. Michael Caposio again finished 2nd, which was good for $4,803 here.

Warda and Osage Creek were Shad Walton's 2 Sunday winners. To that duo, Walton added a pair of runners up, and he got the $2,500 starting bankroll in today's play-in to the Lone Star Million Betting Challenge held on-track in suburban Dallas on Memorial Day.

Matthew White (6 wins, 2 places) hit the day's only double-digit win price -- Dusty Billy ($13.00, $5.20) in the 8th at Thistledown. White pocketed the grand prize of $2,861 in today's $5,000 Gtd. cash game, which closed with a final purse of $6,359.

Tom Cooper (6 wins, 3 places) made collections in every race EXCEPT the Dusty Billy race (TDN8). Cooper grabbed the $1,500 entry in today's qualifier to the May 17 Xpressbet Preakness Challenge.

Kevin Willett (3 firsts, 3 seconds) earned a $2,000 seat in today's Monmouth Pick Your Prize Challenge qualifier. His single biggest return came via a $16.80 place collection on Oh Please, the 16-1 runner up in race 6 at Horseshoe Indy.

Frank "Plaster of" Paros (6 wins, 1 place) and Terry Jerge (5W, 2P) came away with the $1,500 entries in today's qualifier to the $250,000 Gtd. New York, New York Challenge here on June 6-7. Paros scored with Dusty Billy. Jerge's top winner paid $7.60.

Great day for David Barnier (5 firsts, 2 seconds). All 5 of his winners paid double digits, and 3 returned $20.00 or more, including Santa Barbarian ($29.80, $12.00) in SA1. Barnier won $8,977 in today's HT Tour game, our $15,000 Pick & Pray, which paid out a total of $19,950.

David Barnier ran 2nd & 3rd in today's $75, three-seat NHC qualifier at HP. Steven Meier led the way w/4 winners, including Layabout ($48.40, $19.60) in GP6. NTRA rules permit just one seat win per event, so the other available Vegas package went to Paul Yaffee in 4th place.

David Barnier also picked up a $1,500 seat for the inaugural New York, New York Challenge. Runner up Michael Cherello (3 wins, 0 places) was $60 back in 2nd place, and he, too, landed a spot in the $250,000 Gtd. tourney here on Belmont Stakes weekend.

NHC Hall of Famer Brett Wiener (3 places followed by 3 winners) grabbed a $2,000 berth in today's play-in to the first-ever Breeders' Cup Pick & Pray tourney (a $300,000 Gtd. test). His big horse came at the end: Omnipontet ($23.20, $7.40) in the 7th at Santa Anita.

Brett Wiener also garnered a $1,500 Xpressbet Preakness Challenge entry for running 2nd to fellow seat winner Dr. Ronald Tang (3 wins, 2 places). Tang swept the "late double", which included 10-1 Omnipontent.
