What a fantastic first day back! It was also lovely to greet our new Reception Hedgehogs. (Hope our new parents liked their little gift 🥰) I asked the chn for feedback about their new classes - the overwhelming responses were ‘amazing’, ‘brilliant’ and ‘the best class’! 💙

One of our Y5 Foxes received some great news over the summer. After taking part in a writing competition, he discovered he had won the highly commended award for the DH Lawrence Best of Broxtowe category! A fantastic achievement! 👏👏💙

Everyone had a great first week back! It was lovely to hear the buzz of learning again… 💙

Year 3 Otters had a great time giving and receiving instructions ahead of their next writing unit - instruction writing. Some ‘bossy’ imperative verbs were definitely used! Who doesn’t love the chance to boss their teacher around? Poor Mr. Allen! 😁💙
