On Thursday evenings, 7 to midnight, Hospital Radio Ipswich links up with our friends at Ipswich Community Radio on 105.7fm. Congratulations to all involved in relocating ICRâs transmission site and increasing the transmission power, so that programmes can now be heard further afield.

Congratulations to ESNEFT Chief Executive and HRI Christmas Day presenter these past 10 years, Nick Hulme, who was made a CBE in the Kingâs Birthday Honours List. Heâs pictured with HRI Chair Stephen Foster at the recent Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity Extreme Abseil event in which he took part.






Now that Ed Sheeran HQ has finished his Portman Road concerts, we wonder if heâd like to visit our fantastic Hospital Radio Ipswich studios? Here he is, at Jimmyâs Farm, with our Chairman and local radio legend Stephen âFozâ Foster, in 2010, just as it was all starting to happen.


At 10.20pm, Thursday, on Patrickâs âNight Moodsâ, you can hear an interview with Sharon Hobbs, the driving force behind 21 Young Hearts Cafe a bespoke community cafe in Martlesham which supports young people with disabilities.
