Thank you Clare. We’re very proud of this collection. It was a lovely focus during lockdown, but we can’t wait to play more of it live and together next year!

Tomorrow’s BBC Radio 3 New Music show features our recent concert recordings: music written especially for us by Simon Knighton, and Larry Goves & Matthew Welton (the latter featuring singer Juliet Fraser). Also includes a sound installation by Sam Longbottom & Tanguy Poquet.

This gig includes new work by our flautist Kathryn Williams (pictured holding Soundbrenner wearable metronomes) made in collaboration with Ed Cooper—it's a beautiful meditative new work for alto flute, electric guitar & amplified heartbeats: 'Fourfold'. @kwilliflute Ed Cooper

Terrible—Psappha have given me so many nourishing musical experiences over the last 25 years. They run a peerless series of opportunities for young composers & have been a vital force in Manchester & beyond. Defunding them is a bewildering error of judgement.

Huge thanks to the house of bedlam Kettle's Yard & Tom McKinney for tonight's glorious concert in #Cambridge. The perfect finale to this year's wonderful #NewMusic series. We can't wait to discover what musical treasures you have in store for us next. šŸ˜Ž

I'm running a project called PLAY where we're transforming video game controllers into digital instruments and commissioning new pieces for them. Yesterday we got together for a brilliant experimentation day - look out for concerts later this year with the house of bedlam!
