Interesting. Our local weather watcher, David Brain, said Orillia shattered a 109-year-old record for July 24, with temps hitting 35.5 C, .5 degrees warmer than the previous record for this day set during a heat wave in 1916. Will ask my met colleagues about that. #ONstorm #ONwx
