We're excited to host a reading by some great Chicago cartoonists!! We got 6 total, all leading up to the headliner, Darya Foroohar, as she reads from her new book My Eyes, Your Gaze. So come join us!! This coming Wednesday, Jan 22nd. The fireworks start at 6. Drinks on us.

Hey hey. So excited to open up Matthew Allison’s new mini, Hopped Up!, for online orders. This is a Riso mini comic, limited edition of 300 copies, printed by Howling Pages right here at the shop. I howlingpages.com/products/c-mat…

174 out of a 300 run. Howling Pages did the printing and I can’t say enough good things about it. Comic shops printing their own books in-house is as punk rock as it gets.

Finally feels like a proper new book day (though all the books from diamond were late but whatever). Anyway, new Love and Rockets and Julia Gfrofer short work (in a Big book). The classic horror manga Mansect is awesome, as is the equally classic Hauntress. So. Much. Good. Stuff.

And new single issues are headlined by the incredible Godzilla vs Chicago (psst, we’re having a show of the OG art this Friday!!!). Anyhoo, enjoy.
