It was a good morning for the CTT, as four staff were presented by Comd The Fighting 51st, medals & clasps; LS&GC clasps x 2 (bars), LS&GC medal, MSM, VRSM 2nd clasp (bar). A very productive HQ Cadets Branch, Regional Command RC SO1 CCF(A) OC & RSM CTT conference over the past couple of day. Loads of valuable discussion on what's coming & also the way forward for CTTs, course delivery, & collaboration for better output in qualifying of Army Cadets UK Combined Cadet Force CFAVs. 🫡👍

CFAVs are cracking their part 1 of the RMQ Short Range course this weekend. CTT Trg Instr Sgt Graham leads on this serial, & keen & enthused CFAV group here makes for real good course output. From 12, 4, & 1yrs service, it makes for a good mix of experience.🫡👌 Army Cadets in Scotland

Two for one: a lesson on RSDs for the SRC, being delivered by TC Capt Fitzpatrick, as one of his Defence Trainer Teaching Practices! Phase 1 is now completed. Next weekend, it's the final phase where CFAVs will be assessed to determine if they can run a short range. 🇬🇧🫡🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It's a wrap to our RMQ delivery for 2024. Today was the final short-range crse where CFAVs spent the day being assessed on their indoor range RCO delivery. A big well done to a well motivated & enthused group, & well done to my south team. HQ Cadets Branch, Regional Command G McD RC SO1 CCF(A)

Today, I visited 2 events that are being delivered by the CTT in support of a fieldcraft weekend, finishing off with section attacks drills. Also, RMQ SR Cse Pt1, where 15 enthusiastic CFAVs are learning to plan & conduct shooting on short & indoor ranges.🫡🌤👍 HQ Cadets Branch, Regional Command

Now on AT in Cyprus with some of the team & others from CTTs UK wide. Those who decided not to come have missed out on a great package. Today, a wee tab 8km in 29/30c 🥵 part of our in country acclimatisation. Up in troodos Mountain area. Tomorrow, it's full on moutain biking.👍
