The Huairou Commission was at the Community Resilience Partnership Program (#CRPP) Forum 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand on February 27-28, 2024! HC and its are members mapping risks and vulnerabilities, and generating evidence on women's expertise in climate and disaster resilience.

HC Governing Council Member, Laxmitara Dangol, delivered the opening address at the #CRPPForum2024. She outlined the impressive track record of grassroots women’s organizations and urged government representatives to include them in the design of climate adaptation efforts.

Grassroots woman leader, Syarifah Anngreini was a panelist in the #CRPPForum2024 session on 'Strengthening decentralization processes for building community resilience' where she spoke about innovative methods that her women's group use in partnership with the local government.
