Today marks the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s remarkable legacy.

Hueytown American Red Cross is partnering with the Mayor Ware, City council and Chief Sullivan for an upcoming smoke alarm installation event in Hueytown on Saturday, 1 February 2025 from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. They will kick off their event at the Hueytown City Hall Annex Building.

Hueytown JAG students attended the Alabama JAG State Career Development Conference yesterday. Students had the opportunity to capitalize on career and leadership development, financial literacy and networking hundreds of other JAG students from across the state. Jefferson County Schools

Tuesday, March 11th, has been designated as an Opportunity Day for JEFCOED High Schools. On this day, 11th Grade students are expected to report to school to take the ACT test. 9th, 10th, and 12th grade students will participate in an E-Learning Day.

We truly have the best Health Science Academy program in the state of Alabama. Thank you to Mrs. Weaver and Mrs. Praytor for continuing to push our students to be the absolute best.

Mark your calendars! The highly anticipated "Dream Forever" Football Camp, hosted by Jameis Winston, is scheduled for July 19th at Hueytown High School. From 9am-1pm, young athletes aged 6-13 will participate in fundamental drills designed to foster a strong football foundation.

Please mark your calendars for Golden Gem tryouts! Remember in order to try out a parent/guardian must have been present along with the student at the interest meeting on September 18th where all applications and information was given out. Remember ALL 3 days are MANDATORY.
